Crave! Woodmere Information

Tucked into a quiet stretch of Woodmere, Crave! Woodmere at 12 Irving Pl, Woodmere, NY 11598 feels like the kind of neighborhood diner people quickly turn into a regular habit. The location is convenient for locals in Nassau County, just a short walk or quick drive from the central Woodmere area, and the casual exterior gives way to a bright, welcoming dining space that feels lively without being overwhelming. It’s the sort of place where you’ll see families catching up over brunch, friends meeting for lunch, and plenty of regulars greeting the staff by name.

The menu leans into the classic American diner tradition but adds enough variety to keep things interesting. Breakfast is clearly a favorite here, and it’s easy to see why. Plates come out generous and satisfying, whether you’re ordering fluffy pancakes, omelets packed with fresh vegetables, or simple eggs with crispy home fries and toast. The portions are hearty in the way diners should be, and everything arrives hot and well-prepared. A typical weekend morning might mean a table full of coffee mugs, breakfast sandwiches, and a stack of golden waffles that disappear surprisingly fast.

Lunch and dinner options show that the kitchen doesn’t just rely on breakfast to carry the experience. The menu includes burgers, wraps, salads, and classic comfort dishes that appeal to a wide range of tastes. One of the more memorable items is a well-built burger served with a toasted bun and crisp fries, the kind that hits the balance between juicy and flavorful without feeling greasy. Sandwiches and paninis are also popular, often piled high and served with generous sides that make them feel like real value.

Service plays a big role in the atmosphere. Staff members tend to keep things friendly and efficient, checking in often without hovering. Even during busy periods, food usually arrives quickly, which is part of what keeps the diner energy going. From what many local reviews mention, consistency is one of the restaurant’s strengths, with guests returning because they know what to expect.

The dining room itself feels clean and comfortable, with a relaxed vibe that encourages lingering over coffee or dessert. It’s not trying to be trendy or overly polished; instead, it delivers the kind of dependable diner environment that makes people feel at home. For residents around Woodmere or visitors exploring Long Island, it fits perfectly into the category of a go-to casual restaurant where the menu is broad, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere stays welcoming from early morning through the evening rush.

What People's Say About Place

Went to hit up crave for the first time last night. The food came out faster than I expected, we ordered lots of appetisers and a main dish. It was all delicious we had no leftovers. I strongly recommend stopping in. Our waiter was so kind and polite. Def coming back. Thanks for a awesome meal and exceptional service

Great fast food . High calorie but yum. Food is ready fast and wait is short . Menu doesn’t offer much options. Basically kosher McDonald. Joseph the manager is very nice

Went there with my son with the intention of bringing back for my wife and changed my mind after seeing the menu. This is a comfort food place, the third of which to open in the area recently, all have basically the same items. If you’re hungry, everything is good. I loved seeing the management (owner?) and the staff. They seem like genuinely good people in the food business for the right reasons and I hope they are successful. I don’t like loud music and when I went there the music was just blaring loud. That alone would keep me away from a second trip. However, the food was good. The burger was good and almost on par with some of the other places in the area. My son liked his chicken. The burnt ends were ok and the cold slaw was also, just ok. It’s worth a takeout if you’re in the area or a visit if their speaker breaks.

This spot presents well on the outside, but I was still pleasantly surprised by my visit here. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, if a tad loud. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and adaptable. The outside patio is nice to sit at in the Summer, and they do a good job extending that into the Fall with space heaters as it gets a bit cooler in the evening. The portions of food are massive, so while not cheap, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. The burger I got was better than most other 5 Towns and NYC kosher establishments. Would highly recommend, and will go back.

Some of the best burgers came from across the ocean to this beautiful small restaurant with a very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are super friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic!

Probably the best service I ever got. Very friendly. Food was good.

Cool place, nice neat seating. Food was typical for fast food places around town, which is why I was surprised that it was waitered. Kind of don’t think that’s needed. My server was awesome though. (The cool tall kid :) ) But I felt, for the price, I could have gone to a higher end place and take out, or else go to other non waitered places. I absolutely loved the option to buy a sandwich for a soldier, such a good idea. Looking forward to seeing what the full menu looks like

The food was very tasty, the smash burger was very good. The wait staff was very helpful and responsive.
